Exeter Hospital Hepatitis C Lawsuit Filed
Our law firm has filed an 8 count lawsuit against Exeter Hospital on behalf of one of the victims who has contracted hepatitis C as a result of the virus outbreak at the hospital’s cardiac catheterization lab. The specific counts contained in the lawsuit include Negligent Infection of Hepatitis C By Employee, Negligent Failure to Prevent Infection of Hepatitis C By Employee, Negligent Training and Supervision, Wanton or Reckless Conduct – Enhanced Damages, Medical Negligence, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress – Enhanced Damages, Willful or Knowing Violation of the Consumer Protection Act, and Loss of Consortium.While this civil lawsuit has been filed in Rockingham County Superior Court, criminal charges are now being investigated by the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office.
